The animation is really good and the fighting here is really cool I just don't like the Chinese culture thing in anime but I'll just go along with it

honestly to be frank, that's just hitting the target audience, which is probably
people who are in there late 20's early 40's and played all the games
when they where younger.
Heavy on nostalgia for the series has always been a thing, keep it close to the games roots which was also easter egg heavy. the older anime vibe is right on the money too shenmue was set in the 80's so using an animation style to complement that would be par for the course. this isn't a bad path for them to take, it's why spiderman no way home did so well.
spanning a generational gap and have something there for the old and new audience as well, and if this gets anyone new to shenmue to pick up the games.. well that's probably the point of it anyway.
it's not trying to get anime of the year 2022, it's just something made for the fans of the series, and to generate some interest in it.

Not really no. Shounen shows like Naruto, One Piece, My Hero Academia etc don't really appeal to me. Same with super hero movies. They are not fun for me. But everybody likes different stuff, so enjoy what you like:)

like boring dialogues, boring fight scenes, boring side characters, etc

It is based on a series of games from the 90s, so the plot/dialogue might be a little old. But as a fan of the games I am really enjoying this adaptation so far. It is being truthful to the games. The games having a lot of investigation, so all the talking might be boring for somebody who hasn't played them.
